RHONDA JO BOLEY (ROBINSON) went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at WVU Medicine Weirton Medical Center with her husband by her side. She was born in Weirton, WV in December of 1959. She was a proud graduate of Weir High School, Class of 1978, and dedicated 25 years of service to Brooke County Schools. Throughout her career, she served as a secretary at Hooverson Heights Elementary School, Brooke High Center 2, the Brooke High Athletic Office, and the Brooke County Board of Education. She took great pride in her work, especially her time supporting athletic teams and assisting with computer programs at swim meets, where her reliability and willingness to help never went unnoticed. Above all else, she loved her family fiercely. She was married for 47 years to her husband, Frederick Boley, and was the proud mother of her only daughter, Katrina (Anthony Cimorelli). Her greatest joy was her role as Grandma or “ Mamaw” to her beloved grandson, Quint, age 4, whom she adored and spoiled every chance she got. Spoiling him was not optional—it was her job, and she did it exceptionally well. Rhonda is survived by her Father, Paul K. Robinson; her siblings: Rowena von Gortler (Fred, Paula, Justen), Paula Dulaney (Kevin, Devin, Kaylea), Denny Robinson (Melinda, Maggie, Jack), and Ronald Dennis (Donna, Courtney, andLindsay); and many loving nieces, nephews, and their children, all of whom held a special place in her heart. She cherished family reunions, the contributions she made to them, and the many memorable—and often hilarious—adventures shared with her sisters. She was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Robinson, and her in-laws Harold and Nancy Boley. A member of the Colliers Way Church of Christ, she lived her life with quiet service, kindness, and faith. In her free time, she found joy in crocheting, creating gifts that reflected the love she poured into everything she did. Family and friends were received on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 and again on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 until the time of the funeral service, at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Minister Brian Renk officiating. Interment was held privately at New Cumberland Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Backpack Program at Hooverson Heights Church of Christ or to your local elementary school backpack program/lunch program, in honor of her lifelong dedication to children and education, C/o James Funeral Home, 1245 Main Street, Follansbee, WV 26037. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her generosity, devotion, and the love she so freely gave to those around her.
