Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program Returns

The West Virginia Dept. of Agriculture has announced the return of the West Virginia Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program for the 2026 growing season.
The program provides eligible low-income senior citizens with access to fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables.
Seniors can sign up for vouchers through their local county senior services offices and redeem them at approved farmers markets and vendors across the state.
Vouchers, valued at $30, will be available beginning June 1 at local senior centers. Seniors interested in participating can to contact to obtain a voucher.
Farmers wishing to participate in the program can apply now. Applications are currently available and must be submitted by April 15.
