Martha (Sebeck) Barnhart

MARTHA (SEBECK) BARNHART, 95, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Liza’s Place, Valley Hospice Care Center South, Wheeling, WV. Martha was born on November 11, 1930 in Louise, WV. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Stella (Todovich) Sebeck. Martha was a member of Franklin United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Barnhart Sr.; a son-in-law, Harry “John” Bain Jr.; a grandson, Douglas Richard Soly; a great grandson, Hendrix Barnhart; and nine siblings: George, Steve, Pete and Brown Sebeck, Zora Sudar, Stella Smith, Doris Vudrogovic, Mary Schubenski and Ann Rosonovich. Martha is survived by her five children: Regina Anderson and her husband, Richard, Deborah “Debbie” Soly and her husband, Rick, Linda Bain, Robert Barnhart Jr. and his wife, Dolores “Dee” and George Barnhart and his wife, Susan; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A private family viewing and service was held at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Eric Fithyan – Funeral Celebrant, officiating. Entombment followed at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee.
