American Legion Auxiliary Sponsors Rhododendron Girls State

The American Legion Auxiliary, Department of West Virginia, sponsors Rhododendron Girls State as evidence of its faith in American Democracy and in the value of responsible citizenship.
Pictured above are the five junior girls from Brooke High School who attended the West Virginia Rhododendron Girls State Americanism Project held at Davis and Elkins College campus June 7-13 were Onica Rushing, Andrea Bolen, Ivy Myers, Marley Stotler, and Grace Spitak.
The girls were sponsored by American Legion Auxiliary Unit 34 of Wellsburg, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 45 of Follansbee, and Bethany Women’s Club.
