JOB OPENING
The City of Follansbee is accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Police Officer. WV Law Enforcement Certification preferred.
The starting pay is $24.00/hour for a WV-certified officer. Benefits include Health care, dental, life, and optical. PERS retirement is effective immediately upon hire. There is a 90-day probationary period for any new officer. 12 hour shift, must be available evenings and weekends.

Applications can be obtained at the Follansbee City Building, 872 Main Street, M-F from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. All submissions must be received by 3:30 PM on Friday, July 10, 2026. Successful applicants must pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug/alcohol screening.
