DANIEL PATRICK MILLER, 56, of Weirton, WV passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 12, 2023. He was born to Jack and Loretta Bradley Miller on July 11, 1966. Danny was a resident of the Weirton Geriatric Center and was loved by staff and residents alike. His ornery sense of humor and personality put a smile on the faces of the people around him. Watching baseball was his passion, especially his two favorite teams the Pirates and Braves. He loved to watch his DVDs with All in the Family and Emergency being among his favorites. His favorite movies were the Vacation movies and Christmas Story. He loved attending activities offered by the facility and never passed on a chance to play bingo or attend pub night. He would spend most of his time near the nurse’s station flirting and keeping everyone in line. His biggest fan was his sister Debbie. She visited him almost every day. She decorated his room for every occasion and always made sure he had his beloved Yahoo, wine coolers and cheesecake. In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his sister Cathy Rhoades. Left with heavy hearts and an abundance of love are his sisters Debbie (Greg) Boniti, Patricia (Tom) Grubick all from Weirton, Jacqueline Martini from Ohio, eleven nieces and nephews and fifteen great nieces and nephews. Friends were invited to pay their respects on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, Weirton until the time of the funeral service, with Fr. William Matheny Jr. presiding. Danny was buried next to his parents in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery immediately following his funeral service. Danny’s family would like to thank the past and present workers at Garden Place who treated him like family and provided the best possible care. A special acknowledgment to Dan Bailey for his friendship and visits and Amy McGill for the love and care she provided. Both were there the first day Danny arrived.
