AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that SWN Production Company, LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a G70-D General Permit Modification for a natural gas production facility (MIKE RYNIAWEC) located in Brooke County, WV.
From I-70E near Wheeling take exit 2A for U.S. 40 toward WV-88N/Oglebay Pk. Turn right onto National Rd. and continue for 0.4 miles. Turn left onto WV-88/Bethany Pike Hwy. Travel 10 miles and turn left onto Apple Pie Ridge. After 1.8 miles make a sharp right onto Lazear Run Rd. Access road is .4 miles ahead on the left.
Latitude and longitude coordinates are: 40.18951, -80.60532
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be:
Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) 27.17 tons/year
Carbon Monoxide (CO) 48.48 tons/year
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) 70.85 tons/year
Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) 0.05 tons/year
Particulate Matter (PM) 0.67 tons/year
Benzene 0.14 tons/year
Ethylbenzene 0.05 tons/year
Formaldehyde 1.03 tons/year
n-Hexane 1.99 tons/year
Toluene 0.17 tons/year
Xylenes 0.15 tons/year
Methane 10.12 tons/year
CO2 Equivalent 22,059 tons/year
Operations are planned to begin on or about May 06, 2023. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
