PUBLIC NOTICE
The City of Wellsburg, WV is accepting job applications for the position of City Clerk of Council.
The Clerk of Council and all the committees thereof shall have charge of all the records and archives, make out an assessment book from the books of the assessor of Brooke County and perform such other duties pertaining to his office as the Council may prescribe.
The Clerk of Council is the Chief Election Official within the city and shall retain and perform all the duties therein.
The Clerk of Council is a part tiem job and shall receive a salary of $400.00 per month in compensation and shall also receive an additional sum of $50.00 for attending the Committees of Council meeting.
