The United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley’s Board of Directors is excited to announce their upcoming fundraiser, Reverse Raffle. This fun event will take place in the meeting room at Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack on September 8th. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and the gourmet buffet and food stations will be available at 6 p.m. Following dinner, the drawing will start at 7 p.m. along with music and photo booth by Nick Arno Entertainment! Tickets are $100 for a single entry, single guest, $150 for single entry and two guests, $50 for each additional entry. Tickets can be purchased by calling the United Way at 304-232-4625 or by going to the event page at www.unitedwayuov.org. Your ticket will include dinner, one chance to win the grand prize of $5000, and a night of fun and music. Participants do not have to be present to win. During the drawing, participants can win various prizes such as $250 for first number drawn, $50 for every 23rd ticket drawn, and every 10th ticket will be a finalist to win the $5000 at the end of the night.

There will also be amazing raffle prizes such as an overnight stay in a treetop villa donated by Grand Vue Park, a travel package from Uniglobe, an overnight stay with breakfast at Wilson Lodge donated by Oglebay Park, two tickets to WVU vs Cincinnati donated by iHeart Media, two tickets to the KISS Tribute band on September 23rd donated by Wheeling Island Casino, gift baskets, gift cards, and more. Through the campaign, we can help many valuable organizations throughout the Ohio Valle provide crucial life-changing services to those in need.
