Linda Sarap

LINDA SARAP, 68. of Steubenville, OH died peacefully on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Valley Hospice Care Center North. Linda was born on July 18, 1954, in Germany a daughter of the late Stanley and Helga (Zimmerman) Sarap. In addition to her parents Linda is preceded in death by her “favorite” brother-in-law Charles Hendershot. Linda graduated from Weir High School and was Serbian Orthodox by faith. She last worked for Marathon Food Mart in Steubenville, OH. Linda had a love for all animals and loved playing pool which she earned many Trophies from playing in tournaments. She was an avid Ohio State Football fan. Linda is survived by her only son, Shawn Sarap; and her sister, Debbie Hendershot both of Colliers, WV; her best friend Nancy Clark of Steubenville, OH; and one grandson Drake Sarap. There was no visitation. All services and inurnment were held privately at the convenience of Linda’s family. Arrangements were under the direction of the Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
