TEDDY EUGENE ROBERTS, SR., 65, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at his home with his family by his side. Teddy was born on November 8, 1957, in Washington, DC, a son of the late Joseph and Dovie (Hurst) Roberts. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant sister; two brothers Wyatt and Gary Roberts; and a grandson, Timothy Booker III. Teddy was an appliance technician and the owner and operator of Appliance Service Unlimited. Teddy enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved to tell jokes, give big hugs, pinch cheeks, and spend time in the sunshine. Everyone who met Teddy loved him. Teddy is survived by seven children: Tracey Roberts (Quentin Goliday) of Hiram, GA, Timothy Booker, Jr. of Washington, PA, Anna (Kerry) Chance of Morgantown, WV, Nikki Dinch (Steve Barrett) of Wellsburg, WV, Brittany Roberts (Gary Crouser) of Avella, PA, Teddy (Sierra) Roberts, Jr. of Washington, PA, and Joseph Roberts, Jr. of Follansbee, WV; 13 grandchildren: Monique, Jada, Sasha, Jordan, Justin, Leland, Tommie, Kameryn, Tyler, Garrett, Thomas, Rhiannon, and Jaxon; one great grandson, Khing; one sister, Lori (Fred) Caplinger of Wellsburg; one brother, Donnie Roberts of La Plata, MD; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There was no visitation. All services and inurnment were held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were under the direction of the Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
