FORREST DRAPER TRAHERN, 70, of Colliers, WV died peacefully on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Weirton Medical Center. Forrest was born on January 14, 1953, in Follansbee, WV a son of the late Theodore and Lila Ann (Lynch) Trahern. In addition to his parents, Forrest is preceded in death by one brother, Theodore Trahern; and one sister, Anna Trahern. Forrest graduated from Brooke High School Class of 1971. He was a member of Colliers Way Church of Christ and worked for Midland Wood Products as a laborer. He enjoyed listening to music and watching movies. Forrest is survived by one sister, Viola Strope of Silver Springs, FL; and two nephews, Robert (Stephanie) Strope of Wellsburg, WV, and Craig Strope of Silver Springs, FL. There was no visitation. A private graveside service was held at the convenience of the family at St. John Haven of Rest Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
