BARBARA LEE (MOORE) WILLIAMS, 75, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Weirton Medical Center with her family by her side. Born on November 10, 1948 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Crawford and Evelyn (Lemley) Moore. In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles John “Chuck” Williams on May 24, 2014; three sisters, Deborah Secrist, Nancy June Moore, and Harriet Moore; along with three brothers, Joseph A. “Joe” Moore, Johnny Moore, and Little Beau Moore. Barbara graduated from Follansbee High School in 1968. She worked for many years as a home health aide and as a pharmacy technician at Rite Aide Pharmacy. Barbara worshiped at the Follansbee United Methodist Church and served in the United Women in Faith. Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Charles “C.J.” Williams of Follansbee, WV, Christina (David) Parnell of Monongahela, PA and Megan Virginia Moore of Follansbee; 12 siblings: Steve (Charlene) Moore, Mary (Bill) Conley both of Follansbee, WV, Hattie Welch of Wellsburg, WV, George Moore of Pittsburgh, PA, Charlotte (Ron) Freshwater of Fredericksburg, VA, Melissa Sampson and Jimmy Moore, both of Follansbee, Delbert (Darla) of Beech Bottom, WV, Guy (Tear) Moore and Chippy (Becky) Moore both of Follansbee, Kimberly (Bob) Tredway and Virgil (Valarie) Moore both of Wellsburg; she was Banana Cake to her two grandsons, Eli and Levi Parnell, and B. to Makenna and Michael Nickerson, and Kaelynn and Logan Roxby; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Visitation for Barbara was held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 and again on Thursday, February 22, 2024 until the time of the funeral service, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Rev.
