CHRISTOPHER GLENN DORMAN, 53 of Follansbee, WV, was called home to God home suddenly on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Weirton Medical Center. Christopher was born on July 29, 1970 in Jacksonville, FL. He was the son of the late Ron and Sandra Jo (Blair) Purvis. Christopher worked as a HVAC technician/ Maintenance Specialist for over 20 years. Many will remember Christopher as a loving and devoted husband, nothing brought him more joy than the time spent with his wife. He had a knack for making family and friends feel loved and valued, a testament to his generous spirit and loving nature. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and being a gun enthusiast. Christopher is survived by his wife of 23 years, Michelle (Cecelones) Dorman of Follansbee, WV; two children, John C. Dorman and his wife, Michelle of Japan and Kendel Dorman of Arkansas; a granddaughter, Johanna Dorman; two brothers, William Dorman and Michael Dorman and his wife, Kay; a father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gary and Linda (Warman) Cecelones of Follansbee; a sister-in-law, Paula Morrison and her husband, Gregory; a niece, Karlee Hanchin and her husband, Jordan; great niece and great nephew, Vivian and Cole Hanchin; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and close friends. Family and friends were received on Saturday, February 24, 2024 until the time of the funeral service, at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Reverend Debra Dague, officiating.
