KENNETH CECIL GARRETSON, 77, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at home with his family by his side. He was born on June 11, 1946, in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Virgil Kenneth and Dorothy Elizabeth (Karas) Garretson. In addition to his parents Kenneth is preceded in death by his beloved wife Brenda Mae (Kenney) Garretson; an infant son, Kenneth Garretson, Jr; two sisters, Patty and Joan; and a brother, Donnie Garretson; and a daughter in law Angela (Dobbs) Garretson. Kenneth was a member of the Bethany Pike Church of God and he was the owner operator of Kenny’s Auto Works in Wellsburg, WV. He is survived by four children: Randy (Sherry) Garretson of Wellsburg, WV, Bonita (Steve) Deneen of Newton Falls, OH, Tracy (Galen) McKitrick and Kenneth Garretson, III both of Wellsburg; 14 grandchildren: Randy Jr., Jessica, Amanda, Virgil, Ryan, Kim, Breanna, Alyson, Josh and Jeremy, Austin G., Austin H., Katarina, and Brandi; several great grandchildren; five sisters, Karen, Tammy, Debbie, Hazel, and Linda; and one brother, Roger; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There was no visitation. All services and inurnment were held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were under the direction of Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
