DUSTIN RAY DOLIN, 39, of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, with his family by his side at Wheeling Hospital. He was born on May 21, 1984, in Charleston, WV, a son of Chuck Dolin of Danville, WV and the late Jacqueline Ann (Gibson) Huggins. Dustin graduated from Scott High School in 2002 and went on to serve in U.S. Navy from 2002-2009; upon his Honorable Discharge, he took on the role of a caregiver to his mother. He then went on to receive his certification in Welding from the Laurel Business Institute of Technology. Dustin was a free spirit with a heart of gold. He could always put a smile on your face and loved his nieces and nephews like they were his own children. Dustin was an organ donor and at the end of his life, he was able to help 75 people and save the lives of five others. He is survived by two siblings, Drake (Caitlin) Kowcheck of Triadelphia, WV and Jocelyn Kowcheck of Wheeling, WV; nieces and nephews: Aalyah, Addisyn, Ronan, Blake, Brantley and Kyrah; his aunt, Judy (Clifton) Sanders of Madison, WV; along with other extended family and friends. Visitation for Dustin was held Friday, April 26, 2024 until the time of the funeral service, with Pastor Brian Knight officiating at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee. Interment followed at Independence Cemetery. Full military honors were conducted by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
