RAY C. MORRISTON, 79, of Follansbee, WV formerly of Wellsburg, WV died peacefully from several debilitating health issues on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Brightwood Center in Follansbee, WV. He was born on December 18, 1944, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Ray C. and Doris Mae (Goudy) Morriston. In addition to his parents Ray is preceded in death by his wife Lucretia (Corrick); and a son, Gary Wayne Morriston. Ray graduated from Follansbee High School and was Christian by faith. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Morriston and Marlene Brown both of MO; a niece Patty Corrick of Wellsburg, WV; and his brother Gary Morriston of CA. There was no visitation. All services and inurnment were held privately at the convenience of Rays family. Arrangements were under the direction of Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
