KATHLEEN A. LOKMER, 77, of Weirton, WV, passed Saturday April 27, 2024 at Allegheny General Hospital. She was born November 27, 1946 in Braddock, PA, daughter of the late Edward and Carmella DiBasilio Ondrey. Kathleen was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. She worked for 25 years as a nurse at Weirton Medical Center. Kathleen enjoyed reading and traveling with her husband to Spain, Italy, France and Mexico, among other destinations. Above all else, Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Frank Lokmer, Jr.; daughter, Shannon Lokmer-Kelley of Weirton; son, Sean Lokmer (Trish) of Center Point, IA; grandchildren, Patricia, Teague, and Anna; brother, Daniel Ondrey (Dolly) of East Pittsburgh, PA; and sister, Paula Jordan (Tom) of Turtle Creek, PA. Visitation took place Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home, Weirton. Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Sacred Heart of Mary Church, Weirton, with Father Gerald Muoka presiding.
