CHRISTINE DARLENE (BUCHANAN) MILLER, 76, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away on June 16, 2024 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Christine was born on October 10, 1947 in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of the late Alfred John Buchanan and Edna Earle (Kemp) Buchanan. Christine worked as an LPN in Geriatric Nursing finishing her career at the Carriage Inn, Steubenville, OH. Many will remember Christine for her love of fellowship at the Senior Center playing BINGO, traveling with her husband, and bowling. In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon, a granddaughter, Marissa Rhodes, a great grandson, Xavier and two siblings, Victor and Carolyn. Christine is survived by her three children: Bonnie Sue Rhodes and her husband, Lewis, Timothy John Miller and his wife, Lea, and Bobbie Jo Parsons; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a brother, Russell Buchanan; and several nieces and nephews. Per Christine’s request, there was no viewing or service. Private burial was held at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg. The James Funeral Home of Follansbee, was honored and privileged to serve the Miller family during this time of loss.
