TIM KEVIN SOLE, 67, of Wellsburg, WV formerly of Middlebourne, WV died peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Wheeling Hospital with his family by his side. He was born on October 1, 1956, in New Martinsville, WV, a son of the late Walter Creel and Mildred Geneva (Carse) Sole. In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his brother, Terry Sole; and his father-in-law Frank Reitter. Tim graduated from Tyler County High School in 1974 and went on to graduate from Hocking Technical College with an associate’s degree in nursing and later graduated from West Liberty with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He started his career at Wetzel County Hospital and finished his career with 40 years’ service as a registered nurse in the cardiac care and emergency room at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH. Tim was an avid WVU Sports fan and enjoyed going to games with his son Ethan. His love of hunting and fishing in his younger years always held memories of home in Tyler County, WV. He worshiped at the Bert Church of Christ in Middlebourne, WV as a child with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Deborah (Reitter) Sole at home; two children, Lauren Whitney Sole and companion Eric Boothman, Jr. and Ethan Michael Sole; one brother, Dennis Sole and companion Karen Kendall of Columbus, OH; mother-in-law, Irene Reitter; brother-in-law, Doug Reitter; and two nieces, Stacy (Bart) Miller and Kelly (Aaron) Odom. Visitation was held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 until the time of funeral services, with Rev. Joy Leasure officiating, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee.
