Officers and “friends” of Wellsburg American Legion Post 34 presented a monetary donation and donation of supplies to Helping Heroes in Wheeling, WV on Friday, Oct. 18. Helping Heroes is a local organization dedicated to helping our veterans and their families in the Northern Panhandle.
Any veteran in need of housing or assistance may contact Helping Heroes at 304.232.0114.
Anyone wishing to donate non-perishables, paper products or personal hygiene products to veterans may drop them off at Post 34, located at 700 Main St., Wellsburg. The holidays are quickly approaching and there are many veterans in need.
