CHARLES WILLIAM BROOKS, 55, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital in Weirton, WV. Born June 4, 1969, in Steubenville OH, a son of the late Leonard James Brooks and Margaret (Hadley) Brooks of Follansbee, WV. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Shannon and Virginia Hadley and paternal grandparents, William and Bertha Brooks, and three uncles, Ralph Hadley, William Hadley, and Earl Brooks. Charles graduated from Brooke High School and attended Carver School and attended Brooke County Opportunity Center. He was Christian by faith. Charles was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and enjoyed listening to music. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Renate Brooks Forster of Weirton, WV and Bonnie Brooks Ormond of Beaufort, NC; one brother, Leonard Bowers of Follansbee WV; one nephew, Michael (Sherri) Camden of Wheeling, WV; two nieces, Amy Lynn Camden of Wintersville, OH and Jessica Ferrari Sabiston of Beaufort, NC; and many cousins and friends. Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 until the time of funeral services, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Pastor Angel Adams officiating. Inurnment was held privately.
