NANCY LEE CARROLL, 80, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at U.P.M.C. Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born August 30, 1944 in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late Anthony and Phyllis (DeMauri) Carbasho, Sr. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant son, Michael Douglas Carroll; her daughter-in-law, Linda Carroll; a brother, Anthony Carbasho, Jr.; and two sisters, Patricia Pannett and Jeanie Hall. She graduated from Follansbee High School in 1962 and attended nursing school in Wheeling, WV. Nancy was Catholic by faith. She was very active in the Hooverson Heights Volunteer Fire Department and was the treasurer for many years and helped with many fund raising activities. Nancy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Vincent Carroll; three children: Rob Carroll and companion Gwen Morris of Follansbee, WV, Jeff Carroll, Sr. and companion Debbie Hawthorne of Weirton, WV, and Elizabeth Ann (Paul) Patterson of Columbus, OH; one sister, Joann Mattioli of Follansbee; one brother, Jack Carbasho of Wellsburg, WV; six grandchildren: Aspen Carroll and companion Kylee Taylor, Maddie Carroll and companion, Matt Faught, Jeff Carroll, Jr. and companion Mary Perone, Zach Carroll, and Kacie Patterson and companion, Matt, P.J. Patterson; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Maren, Barrett, Lennox, Ella, and one on the way, Laney Carroll; and many nieces and nephews. All services were held privately.
