WVDE Announces Funding for School Safety Projects

Brooke County is among the list of grantees included in the The West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) school safety project grants awarded to 24 eligible educational entities around the state. The grants are a part of the $1 million appropriation made possible through House Bill 230 passed during the West Virginia Legislature’s 2024 special session. The funds will assist to improve or enhance the safety of school buildings.
