The Very Rev. Archimandrite Stephen Mazaris

THE VERY REV. ARCHIMANDRITE STEPHEN MAZARISpassed away on Sunday March 16, 2025. He was born in Weirton, WV on August 14, 1933, to Nicholas and Catherine Primikiri Mazaris, who emigrated to the United States from Asia Minor. He is preceded in death by his brother, George. Fr. Stephen grew up loving basketball, golf, and Greek music. An avid reader, Fr. Stephen amassed a great collection of books, as well as icons over the years.…
