JOHN “BUDDY” LESLIE LEVIS, 76, of Follansbee, WV, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, after a recent fall. John was born on July 2, 1948 in Weirton, WV. He was the son of the late John E. Levis and Marie (Smedley) Levis. John served proudly in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He retired from Weirton Steel Corp. John was a member of the American Legion Post 45, Follansbee, WV. Many will remember John for his love of antique cars especially Camaros that he would restore and build in addition to being a huge Beatle Fan. John is survived by his best friend, Ronald Puskarich of Florida, in addition to his friends of the American Legion Post 45 and the Brooke County Senior Center, along with many others throughout the City of Follansbee. Friends were received on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 until the time of Military Honors, at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee.
