LORETTA (ARACICH) CECCARELLI, 86, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Weirton Medical Center. Born July 2, 1939, in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Anthony and Julia (Kovicich) Aracich. In addition to her parents, Loretta is preceded in death by her loving husband, Domenick Ceccarelli; eight brothers: Frank, Joe, Tony, George, John, Bob, Charles, and Jack Aracich; and four sisters: Faith Eileen Aracich, Ann Aracich, Genevieve Phillips, and Julia Shaffer. Loretta was an active member of the Brooke County Senior Center for several years and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo games which she won all the time. She is survived by her only sister, Marie Reck of Wellsburg, WV, along with many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. A private Funeral Liturgy of the Word was held at the convenience of the family at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee, with Rev. Father Justin Golna officiating. Interment was held in Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee. Loretta’s family would like to thank the Staff of Brightwood Nursing Home for all of their time and care with her.
