CONSTANCE “CONNIE” (SISINNI) DIBELLO, 94 of Follansbee, WV, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4. 2025 at her residence under the care of Valley Hospice. Connie was born on June 1, 1931 in Follansbee, WV. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Maria (Velotta) Sisinni. Connie was a proud graduate of Follansbee High School. She went on to share her culinary talents at Betty’s Dinnette, Follansbee and later as the beloved cook at the Fountain, Steubenville, OH. Whether baking or preparing traditional Italian dishes, Connie was always in the kitchen baking from scratch or preparing rich comforting Italian meals. Family, friends, and even strangers felt her love in every dish she served. Although cooking was her passion, Connie also spent many years working alongside her family at Johnnies’ Florist in Follansbee, WV, where she created beautiful floral arrangements to celebrate life’s many occasions. She was a devoted member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Follansbee, WV. In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her three brothers, Frank “Blackie” Sisinni and wife Mary, John Sisinni and wife, Clara Lee, and Ross Sisinni and wife, Phyllis, and a niece, Tina Sisinni. Connie is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 74 years, Frank Joseph DiBello, who were always together; two children, David DiBello and wife, Deborah of Canonsburg, PA and Lynne DiBacco and husband, Steve of Weirton, WV; a brother, Dominic Sisinni and wife, Mary Kay of Follansbee, WV; a brother-in-law, Dominic DiBello of Pittsburgh, PA; a sister-in-law, Rosalee Muzzi of Weirton; 10 nieces and nephews: Mary Lee Kimball, Lori Wilkerson, Susan Haney, Kimberly DiPietrantonio, Wendy Veltri, Tricia Porter, Sherri Hartman, Terri Sisinni, Frank Sisinni and Michael Sisinni; a dear and special friend, who was like a son, Attilio Boni; dear nurse, Ashlee, who was like a granddaughter and her children, Gavinn, Everett and Arabella; and caregivers, Joanna, Leah, Jennifer and Sheila. Family and friends were received on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, where the funeral commenced on Monday, September 8, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee, with Father Gerald Muoka presiding. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee.
