City of Follansbee is accepting applications for a laborer for the Public Works Field Crew.
Full time position with a starting pay rate of $15.00 per hour and full benefits including 100% paid health insurance.
Duties include maintaining and improving physical facilities of the city including streets and street right of ways, streetlights and signs, storm drainage systems, and repairing water and sewer lines.
Experience with heavy equipment is preferred.
Valid Driver License required.
Must be available evenings and weekends.
Internal applicants are given priority.
Applications can be picked up and dropped off at the City Building, Monday – Friday, 8:30a – 3:30pm, 872 Main Street. Applications accepted through October 3, 2025. The City may extend the deadline until a qualified candidate is hired.
