PRISCILLA “SISSY” GRIFFITH, 82, of Wellsburg, WV passed away peacefully at UPMC Passavant on the September 15, 2025. Sissy was born on April 7, 1943, in Independence, PA to the late Henry and Susan Georgetti. Sissy was a loving & caring mother. She was adored by her many nieces and nephews. She was devoted to her Catholic Faith. Proceeded in death was the love of her life James “Jim” Griffith who passed May 6, 2025, three brothers Henry Carl, Ronald Albert and Regnald Henry Georgetti. Jim and Sissy had a beautiful love story for 62 years. They were blessed to have traveled all over the world. Sissy is well remembered for her years of working in fashion at the Virginia Shop and the Joy Patch located in Wellsburg, W. She adored her best friends Anita & Madelon and had the pleasure of having a joyful group of “Lunch Bunch Ladies” to share in monthly lunch dates. She is survived by her only son David Todd Griffith of Wellsburg, WV; her sister, Georgia (Patrick) Georgetti-Cunningham; and several nieces and nephews along with their children. Liturgy of the Word took place at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Sissy’s memory to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
