WVDoH Urges Vigilance Ahead of Respiratory Illness Season

As respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) spreads most often in the fall and winter, the West Virginia Dept. of Health is urging vigilance ahead of respiratory season illnesses such as COVID-19, influenza (flu) and RSV.
“We are entering those colder months when respiratory illnesses spike,” explained state health officer Dr. Mark McDaniel.
