PAMELA SUE (NOLAN) MERCER shed her earthly wings to gain her heavenly ones and was finally reunited with her husband and children on October 16, 2025, while being surrounded by her family. Born August 13, 1955, in Wheeling, WV, daughter to Francis Jean Virden and Willliam Dale Nolan. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, sister, daughter and aunt. Sue was always there for anyone who needed her, her advice or just a coffee and a smoke on the porch. Her personality was larger than life and she was one of a kind to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Brent Mercer; her daughter, Jody Lee; and son, Michael. She also was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry (Susan) Nolan, Gary Paul (Patty) Nolan and William “Billy” Nolan. Sue leaves behind to cherish her memory at home her mother, Francis Jean (Virden) Forsythe; her brother, Walter Nolan; sister, Marlena (Todd) Smith; sisters-in-law Susan Nolan and Patty Nolan; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and many cousins’ friends. There was no visitation.
