JOHN L. BADO, SR., 77, of Wellsburg WV passed away November 14, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. John retired from Crown Cork and Seal where he worked in maintenance and was a Bailiff and worked as a security guard for the Brooke County Sheriff’s Department. John was an avid car enthusiast, whose love was rebuilding cars with his son. John was also a member of the Wellsburg Nazarene Church. John was born November 12, 1948, in Wheeling Wv to the Late John and Joan Carolyn Griffith Bado. John is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine “Sis” Gerrek Bado; one son, John L. Bado, Jr. and Amanda of Wellsburg, WV; two daughters, Christi Nichols of Wellsburg and Shawna Crabtree and Tommy; his loving sister, Theresa Stillion of Wellsburg; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and the love of his life, his dog Annie. Visitation was held Tuesday, November 18, 2025 until the time of the service, at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg, with Pastor John Keener officiating.
