GERALDINE R. WOODS CROSS, 91, formerly of Follansbee, WV, passed away November 22, 2025, at Peterson Rehabilitation Center, Wheeling, WV. Geraldine was born June 21, 1934, in Wellsburg, WV to the late Floyd and Ida Hyett Woods. Geraldine had her nose stuck in everything, and was an active volunteer for too many groups and organizations to list. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Cross; one son, Joel Cross; and two brothers, Floyd Woods and Melvin Dickenson. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Cross and Lisa of Martins Ferry, OH; one daughter, Celesta “Carol” Hartley of Colliers, WV; one stepsister, Mary Lynn; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, November 28, 2025, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m., at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg, with Elder Jeffrey Cross officiating.
