First Day Hikes

Twenty-one state parks and forests will host 24 First Day Hikes on Jan. 1 to help visitors kick off 2026 with time spent outdoors.
The free guided hikes are part of a nationwide initiative to bring people together to connect with nature, explore park trails and start the year with fresh air and exercise.
