LESLIE DIANE METZ, 62, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2026, with her family by her side at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 14, 1963, in Washington, PA a daughter of the late John “Buddy” Myers and Darla (Kirchner) Myers of Avella, PA. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, David Myers. Leslie graduated from Avella High School in 1981, and was a member of the majorette’s which she loved, and was a great clarinet and piano player. She worked for many years as a homecare aide. She was Christian by faith. Leslie was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and enjoyed raising all of them. Leslie is survived by her mother, Darla Myers of Avella, PA; her devoted husband, Thomas “Tom” Metz; three daughters: Brittany Metz and fiance, Bobby Gebroski, Chelsea Metz, and Melissa Metz; two brothers, Gary Myers and Nick Myers; six grandchildren, Jalynn, Alexis, Brayson, Brielle, Abbi, and Thomas; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
