Bethany College celebrated an extraordinary show of support from its community on March 24, surpassing its initial $100,000 goal by more than 70% during this year’s Day of Giving.
In total, 291 donors helped propel the campaign past its original $100,000 goal, exceed a $150,000 stretch goal set during the day, and ultimately raise $170,668.96 in support of Bethany students and programs.
Fueled by the generosity of Bethanians across the country, the 24-hour campaign brought together alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends in a shared commitment to advancing the College’s mission.
“This remarkable Day of Giving reflects the deep pride and enduring commitment people feel for Bethany College,” said Bethany President Dr. Jamie Caridi. “Every gift represents a belief in our students and in the future of this institution. We are incredibly grateful to our alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends whose generosity will help Bethany continue to provide a transformative educational experience.”
Support for the Bethany Fund and Bison Athletics highlighted the day, with donors choosing to invest in scholarships, academic programs, campus improvements, and the student-athlete experience. Among the day’s standout moments was a $20,000 matching gift challenge for Bethany Football, made possible by two generous donors. The challenge inspired support for critical resources and opportunities for student-athletes.
“This year’s Day of Giving was a powerful reminder of what it means to be a Bethanian,” said Vice President for Advancement Jason Koegler. “The energy, and generosity that we saw throughout the day was truly inspiring. Because of this incredible support, we are able to continue creating impactful opportunities for our students, both in and out of the classroom.”
Momentum built throughout the day as gifts of all sizes came together to push the campaign past both milestones, demonstrating the strength and dedication of the Bethany community.
Bethany College extends its sincere gratitude to every donor who participated in Day of Giving. While the 24-hour celebration has concluded, opportunities to support Bethany students and programs remain open.
