JUNE (KILPATRICK) COULTER, 93, of Follansbee, WV, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026 in Leesburg, Florida. June was born on December 8, 1932 in Weirton, WV. She was the daughter of the late Vernie A. Kilpatrick and Virginia (Blankenship) Kilpatrick. June was a simple woman who found joy in life’s everyday moments. She especially loved camping in the fifth wheel with her husband, where she was happiest enjoying the outdoors and the peace that came with it. June had a deep love for her pets, treating them as part of her family and finding comfort in their companionship. Though she experienced hearing difficulties, it never slowed her down. June had a gift for conversation, often communicating through her dry erase board, and she could talk with just about anyone, always eager to share a story or a laugh. She had a strong, independent spirit and took pride in taking care of herself and those around her. June was known for her determination, her resilience, and her ability to keep going no matter the circumstance. She cherished time spent with her family and found happiness in being surrounded by those she loved. Whether it was a simple visit, a shared meal, or just sitting and talking, those moments meant the most to her. June will be remembered for her warm heart, her spirited nature, and the lasting impression she made on all who knew her. In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Coulter, a daughter, Marsha Gatts, a grandson, Christopher Fisher and three siblings, Robert L. Kilpatrick, Thomas Kilpatrick and Dorothy Wilson. June is survived by her three children, Donna, George and Jerry, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 10 a.m., at St. John Cemetery Haven of Rest, Colliers, where she will be interred with her husband.
