ROBIN LEE (HOWEARTH) STEWART, 73, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Valley Hospice Liza’s Place, Wheeling, WV with her husband and family at her side. Robin was born on December 16, 1952 in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Lee Howearth and Willavene N. (Frayer) Howearth. She devoted herself to nurturing young minds as a preschool teacher at Kids Korner through the Refocus Christian Church in Follansbee, WV. Those who knew her will fondly remember her boundless love for children, her patience, her encouragement, and her joy in inspiring them to learn and grow. Robin’s zest for life extended beyond the classroom, she was an avid baker and cook, always creating treats for friends and family. Robin was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers’ fan—a passion that led her to meet the love of her life and soulmate, Delbert. Her warmth, generosity, and infectious joy touched everyone she met. Robin will be remembered not just for her passions and talents, but for the way she made every person feel special, loved, and encouraged. In addition to her parents, Robin was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Michaux. Robin is survived by her husband of 45 years, Delbert Stewart; two daughters, Tracey Kuproski and her husband, David and Kristen O’Dell and her husband, Sean; a niece that was like a daughter to her, Tammy Knox and her husband, Jeff; six grandchildren: Emma and Molly Kuproski, Anya O’Dell, and Katrina, Kayla and Brayden Stewart; a brother-in-law, Jack Michaux; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1 p.m., at the ReFocus Christian Church, corner of Penn and Neville Streets, Follansbee.
