STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS

Professional Design Firm Qualifications based proposals to provide engineering services, including studies, grant assistance, preliminary engineering, final detailed design, construction services, and project management for water line extension projects and system maintenance and repairs within the City of Follansbee service area in Brooke County WV for the fiscal year 2026 – 2027 will be accepted at the office of the City of Follansbee, Follansbee WV 26037 until 3:30 p.m. on July 8, 2026. Engineering firms interested in being considered to provide said services or for future projects and/or consulting should reply with a statement of qualifications. All statements must be received at the offices of City of Follansbee at 872 Main Street, Follansbee WV, 26037.
Statement of qualifications should include information regarding the firm’s history; education and experience of owners and key technical personnel; the technical expertise of the firm’s current staff; the firm’s experience in designing water treatment and distribution systems and similar projects; availability of staff; the firm’s equipment and facilities; references; any previous work performed for the City of Follansbee; availability to meet schedules and deadlines; expertise in working with grants; and the proximity of offices to the City of Follansbee, Brooke County, WV and the staff of said offices qualified in civil, environmental, electrical, mechanical and architectural engineering disciplines. any Design Firms desiring to be considered for projects shall maintain a current Statement of Qualifications which shall be not older than twelve (12) months.
