Judith Annette Bilak

JUDITH ANNETTE BILAK, 85, of Follansbee, WV, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 14, 1940, in Washington, PA, Judith was the daughter of the late George and Louise (Kopp) Applegate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, David Applegate, George Applegate, and Jack Woods. Judith was a 1958 graduate of Trinity High School in Washington, PA. A devoted member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Follansbee, she dedicated her life to her faith and to the care and well-being of her family. Judith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she loved will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Michael Bilak; her daughter, Michele Lynn (Charles “Bill”) of Colliers, WV; her son, Michael Stephen (Melissa) Bilak of Wellsburg, WV; one sister, Lorene Mueller of Washington, PA; four cherished grandchildren, Nathan Riggs, Sara Riggs and fiancé Quintan, Megan Bilak, and Kaitlyn Bilak and fiancé Ryan; five great-grandchildren, Brennen, Arabella, Owen, Holden, and Hudson; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Family and friends were received on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Mullenbach Funeral Home, Follansbee. A Catholic funeral mass was celebrated on Friday, June 5, 2026, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee, with the Rev. Father Gerald Muoka serving as celebrant. Interment followed at St. John Haven of Rest Cemetery, Colliers.
