WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS – SCADA SYSTEM

General Notice
The City of Follansbee (Owner) is requesting Bids for the following equipment:

1. SCADA System – Spec Section 290000

Bids for the SCADA System equipment will be received at the City of Follansbee located at 827 Main Street, Follansbee, WV 26037, May 21, 2023, at 1:00 pm local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents
The Bidding Documents may be examined at the following locations:
Ghosh Engineers, Inc. City of Follansbee
4710 Chimney Drive, Suite A 827 Main Street
Charleston, WV 25302 Follansbee, WV 26037

Prospective Bidders may obtain the Equipment Bid Specifications at the Issuing Office (the office of Ghosh Engineers, Inc.). The specifications shall be emailed to prospective Bidders electronically. There is no cost for the equipment specification.

Bidding Method
The Bid must be submitted in an envelope that includes the bid proposal price in the equipment manufacturer’s standard proposal format. The Bid package must be submitted in two (2) envelopes. The envelopes must contain the following:
Envelope No. 1
a. System Integrator Qualification Statement (Per Section 290000, Para. 1.4.A.6, page 3).
b. West Virginia Contractor’s License (Copy)
Envelope No. 2
a. Bid proposal.

Time of Completion
The time of completion of this work shall be 180 calendar days beginning with the issuance of a purchase order.

Instructions to Bidders
Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders.
Bid proposals shall be valid for forty-five days (45) days.
Owner is exempt from West Virginia state sales and use taxes on materials and equipment to be incorporated in the Work. Said taxes must not be included in the Bid.
The City of Follansbee reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
