Children’s “Grab and Go” Pumpkin Decorating Contest at the Library

The Brooke County Public Libraries will be providing a grab and go activity. Reserve a bag, schedule a pick-up, and work on at home!
You will receive a pumpkin and a bag of supplies to decorate your pumpkin. Decorate your pumpkin at home (you can also use supplies from home). If you would like a chance to win a prize, bring your completed pumpkin to the Wellsburg Applefest on Saturday, Oct. 7 between 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the library booth near town square to be judged. Winners will be announced and pumpkins can be picked up at 1 p.m. The contest is open for ages preschool–8th grade. Pumpkins, supplies and prizes are provided by the Wellsburg Applefest Committee.
Pumpkins are limited. Register by calling 304-737-1551 or 304-527-0860 or visit https://brookecountylibs.org/events. You will receive a call to pick up your pumpkin at your selected library when they are available (starting October 2).
