PUBLIC NOTICE FOR EMPLOYMENT
The City of Follansbee is accepting applications for: Full-time City Patrolman.
Requirements include: High School Diploma or GED; no felony or serious misdemeanor arrests; must possess a valid driver’s license ; must be age 18 or older; must have good moral character; and must be able to pass a criminal background check and polygraph examination.
The City of Follansbee will hold a physical agility test equivalent to the West Virginia State Police Academy entrance exam to the Academy.
Starting Rate for certified officers is $24.05.
Benefits include health, vision, and dental insurance (single and family plans); paid Holidays and compensation for off duty court testimony.; paid sick leave; and two weeks paid vacation after the first year of employment.
