Judicial Annex Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Brooke County Judicial Building took place inside the new courtroom Tuesday, March 26.
A.J. Thomas, Attorney at Law and Brooke County Commissioner, has been the project overseer. Commissioner Thomas gave the opening remarks for the ceremony. Senator Ryan Weld, Prosecutor Joe Barki, Del. Jimmy Willis, and representatives from Attorney General Patrick Morrisey and Senator Joe Manchin’s office followed the opening remarks.
Tim Ennis, past commissioner and delegate who was very instrumental in getting this project started, reflected on the past years and all the vision and planning that went into bringing this building into existence.
The room was crowded with Brooke County dignitaries, attorneys, office workers and general citizens to celebrate this day. Light refreshments were served and tours of the building were given following the ribbon cutting.
