Weirton Spring Cleanup Set

Spring clean-up in Weirton is scheduled for Monday-Friday, April 8-12.
Pick-ups for the clean-up will be on the same day as regular trash pick-ups.
The following guidelines will apply:
•Household goods should be at the curb by 7 a.m.
•Only household goods will be accepted.
•Items that will not be accepted are construction materials, vehicle tires or parts, tree trimmings and brush, propane tanks, air conditioners, lawnmowers, paint, oil, antifreeze and hazardous materials.
•Recyclable materials will not be picked up.
•Metal items will be picked up on Thursday-Friday, April 4-5, only. Includes are stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, hot water tanks, old railings, bicycle frames and metal shelving. Those items must be at the curb by 7 a.m. Thursday, April 4.
