Brooke County PSD Receives Grant

Brooke County Public Service District has received a $500,000 grant from the West Virginia Infrastructure and Jobs Development Council.
The award was part of $15 million in funding for sewer and water projects around the state announced at the council’s meeting April 3.
The funds will go towards a sewer extension along Washington Pike to serve 13 homes.
The Brooke County Commission will provide another $500,000 million for the project from the federal American Rescue Plan Act funds it received during the COVID pandemic.
