AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE

Notice is given that Expand Operating, LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a G70-E General Permit Modification for a natural gas production facility (GERALD GOURLEY) located in Brooke County, WV.
From I-70 take exit 1A to SR-2 North. Travel SR-2 North 19.8 miles to Alt SR-27 intersection and turn right on Alt SR-27. Travel Alt-27 for 4.3 miles to CR-14, (St. Johns Rd), and turn right on CR-14. Travel 2.3 miles to access road on left.

Latitude and longitude coordinates are: 40.320953, -80.56222
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be:

Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) 29.44 tons/yr
Carbon Monoxide (CO) 53.27 tons/yr
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) 77.50 tons/yr
Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) 0.05 tons/yr
Particulate Matter (PM) 0.77 tons/yr
Benzene 0.14 tons/yr
Ethylbenzene 0.04 tons/yr
Formaldehyde 1.39 tons/yr
n-Hexane 1.98 tons/yr
Toluene 0.15 tons/yr
Xylenes 0.08 tons/yr
Methane 25.30 tons/yr
CO2 Equivalent 23,139 tons/yr

Operations are planned to begin on or about July 11, 2025. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
