Carolyn Janet Fyke Smith

CAROLYN JANET FYKE SMITH, 83, of Wellsburg, WV passed away June 19, 2025, at home. She was born August 13, 1942, in Wellsburg, WV to the late Harold and Minerva Virginia Sherwood Fyke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence “Larry” Horner, daughter, Kathy Koren, and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Donald L. Smith; sister, Evelyn Foote of Grand Rapids, MI; four grandchildren: Amy Baker (Mike) of Wellsburg, WV, Sheena Hays (Jason) of Valley Grove, WV, Jessica Utt (Justin) of Follansbee, WV, and Steve Koren (Devon); nine great grandchildren: Tristin and Abel Hayes, Zayden and Landrek Baker, Jerri and Jayanna Wilson, and Tucker, Kason and Colt Koren; and a great-great grandson, Jameson.
