Clinton W. “Clinker” DeWitt

CLINTON W. “CLINKER” DEWITT, 90, of Beech Bottom, WV passed away January 29, 2026, at Valley Hospice Liza’s Place, Wheeling, WV. He was born June 4, 1935, in Beech Bottom, WV to the late Stacy and Bernice Wheeler DeWitt. He was retired from Weirton Steel and was a member of the Beech Bottom Community Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Ronald and Kenneth DeWitt. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn “Lorraine” DeWitt; his daughter, Donna DeWitt Griffin (Robert) of Flushing, OH; three sons: David DeWitt (MaryAnn) of Wellsburg, WV, Douglas DeWitt (Amy) of McConnelsville, OH and Donald DeWitt (Ginger) of Moundsville, WV; a sister, Linda Klingensmith of Florida; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 until the time of the service. at Reasner Funeral Home, Wellsburg. Interment followed at Franklin cemetery.
